Greensboro Police Chief John Thompson made a Powerpoint Presentation (PPP); spoke to challenges and opportunities; provided a citywide crime update; spoke to violent and property crime; to recruitment and retention; to technology; to recent crime trends; to compensation; outlined applicants demographics; highlighted goals to increase minorities and female participation; and referenced department vaccinees.
Discussion took place regarding vacancy shortages; class numbers; patrol routes; and community outreach.

Chief Thompson continued the PPP; highlighted traffic complaints; the Zen City Survey tool; the Real Time Crime Intelligence Center; spoke to grant funding; to license plate readers; and to Flock cameras.
