The City Council Chamber will be open to the public beginning July 13, 2021 with limited capacity. The public will be allowed for specific items of interests and must exit after the item is discussed or voted on. Masks will be required for all attendees. Residents are encouraged to continue to participate in the meeting virtually.  To sign up to speak on an agenda item or speak during the public comment portion of the meeting, submit a request (identify item you wish to address by ID # or a brief description) by 5pm the day prior to a meeting at https://form.jotform.com/202643500426041.  Only requests to speak via this platform will be accepted.  Residents requesting to participate will be emailed an invitation to register with instructions on how to participate, including a unique password that cannot be used by other individuals. Zoom participants will be removed from the call following the conclusion of their item and are invited to observe the remainder of the meeting on the Greensboro Television Network (GTN).  All comments received are subject to the public records law and will be posted on the City of Greensboro website.

The first regular meeting of the month is for Council consideration of public forum comments, ceremonial/presentational, consent, public hearing, and business items as needed.

The second regular meeting of the month is for Council consideration of consent, public hearing, and business items.

The zoning application hearing process allows proponents and opponents a total of fifteen (15) minutes notwithstanding the number of persons desiring to be heard. Proponents shall be heard first followed by comments from opponents. Each side may speak a total of five (5) minutes rebuttal.

Greensboro City Council meetings are available via  https://www.greensboro-nc.gov/government/city-council/council-meetings (please note the City is currently transitioning to a new agenda management platform, this link will be active by July 13th), the live stream will be on the city's YouTube page, at https://www.youtube.com/user/CityofGreensboroNC, the Greensboro Television Network (GTN) live on Spectrum channel 13 with a digital cable box, NorthState channel 31, AT&T U-verse channel 99. GTN is also available on the Roku streaming platform by going to “add channels” and searching for Greensboro Television Network.  Lastly, GTN can be streamed live on the City’s website.
